Congratulations to Dr. Martha Ann Bell, who was awarded a 4-year U01 funded by NIH/NIDA.  MPIs with Dr. Bell are Dr. Brittany Howell (FBRI and Human Development) and Dr. Kathy Hosig (Veterinary Medicine, Public Health Extension Specialist).

Dr. Heather Davis recently had two articles focusing on eating disorders published. The first article was published in the journal Appetite and the other in the Journal of American College Health. Congratulations, Dr. Davis! 

Dr. Rosanna Breaux, assistant professor of Psychology and director of the Child Study Center at Virginia Tech, recently conducted studies that focused on children's mental health during the pandemic and their classroom performance. Based on that data, Breaux says that teachers may start to notice a greater amount of students suffering from anxiety, depression, irritability, and even aggression. Read more now.
