Virginia Tech Researchers Seeking Participants for a Study of Volunteering Experiences

IRB-23-935

Virginia Tech researchers are recruiting participants for a research study about volunteering experiences. Participation will consist of the completion of a total of four surveys across an 8-week period. The timeline of surveys is shown in the image below.

Study Timeline

Participants may receive $8 - $20 depending on the extent of their participation. To be eligible to participate, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be employed full-time
  • Plan on volunteering for a charitable group or organization within the next month
  • Not be an undergraduate or graduate student
  • Be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Be comfortable reading and speaking in English
