Six faculty members in the Virginia Tech College of Science were honored with faculty fellowships by the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors, one of the six was our very own, Martha Ann Bell.
The awards were approved at the August meeting of the Board of Visitors. Each of the three-year fellowships is dedicated to recognizing faculty for extraordinary research and teaching, and for recruiting scholars with exceptional
Dr. Breaux was selected from a pool of well-qualified applicants by renowned experts in the field, for making contributions to understanding Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The award includes recognition in their Attention Magazine and at the 2019 Annual International Conference on ADHD in Philadelphia, PA where Dr. Breaux will present her research during the award ceremony.
The College of Science established this fellowship to recognize faculty dedicated to extraordinary research and teaching. Dr. Bell’s research is centered on developmental cognitive neuroscience where she studies frontal lobe functioning.
