The i - Language, Environment, Attention, and Parenting (iLEAP) laboratory conducts research on how infants and young children learn to comprehend and produce language. Learning language also involves environmental experience, attention, and perception processes that facilitate early social interactions, for example, the way caregivers promote language learning through play.
