The VT Autism Clinic & Center for Autism Research was delighted to offer tours of the Mobile Autism Clinic at the recent VT Alumni Weekend.  Victoria Izaac, Danielle Martino and Jen Scott gave tours and shared information with over 30 curious alumni. Psychology faculty among recipients of 2023 Dean's Discovery Fund Awards

CAP Lab Undergraduate Research Assistants Win Awards

Congrats to CAP Lab undergrad research assistants Trisha Ravigopal and Poojaa Kalathur who recently won awards at the Dennis Dean Undergraduate Research and Creative Scholarship Symposium. Trisha received the “Karen Roberto Award for Social Science Research”. Trisha was mentored by graduate student Mohamed Zerrouk. Ivan Hernandez, Weiwen Nie, and Joseph Meyer Win the SIOP Machine Learning Competition

Ivan Hernandez and Ph.D. alum Weiwen Nie, along with Joseph Meyer, won the Society for Industrial and Organizational Society (SIOP) Machine Learning (ML) competition.  The goal of the competition was to use natural language processing to predict evaluator scores of text-based responses from job candidates.  28 teams across the US and internationally competed in the challenge.
