The Department of Psychology would like to recognize Professor Pearl Chiu for being awarded the Patricia Caldwell Faculty Fellowship by the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors. Chiu has been a member of the Virginia Tech faculty since 2010 and is also a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, where she focuses on how brain function and decision-making are affected in illnesses such as depression and addiction. The Patricia Caldwell Faculty Fellowship was established to recognize faculty members who are dedicated to their extraordinary research. Congratulations Pearl Chiu on your achievement!
