Martha Ann Bell was selected to receive the Alumni Award for Research Excellence (AARE) 2020 in the “social sciences, humanities, or arts” category. This award was given in recognition of her research having indisputable influence in cognitive developmental neuroscience; the complex interplay between biology, emotion, and cognition in young children.
