Each year we participate in VT Giving Day (Feb 18-19 noon to noon), and we collect donations for our annual fund. We are notoriously pretty low-ranked in the college for these donations -- which means we give up the possibility to acquire a top spot on a competitive leaderboard, which is not unlocked by large donations, but goes by the simple COUNT of donations to Psychology's annual fund (not the helping hands fund-- that's separate). Even 2-3 dollars per person in that 24 hours could open up funds of up to 7K, which I will direct toward student support if that is achieved. Much of the annual fund pays for student oriented programming, including our universally loved graduation ceremony at Hahn garden. So, please consider giving whatever you can and our students will benefit. If we meet the goal of matching funds, we will party with pizza in the front office!
