VTCAR is excited to announce that applications for the VTCAR Student Award Program are now being accepted for the 2021-22 academic year. The VTCAR Student Award Program is for graduate or undergraduate students working with a VTCAR faculty affiliate. The program’s purpose is to provide support up to $500 for a graduate or undergraduate student on research that is consistent with the mission of the Virginia Tech Center for Autism Research (VTCAR). The project must be consistent with the mission of VTCAR, but the scope of projects and use of the funds is left up to the faculty/student team.
Eligibility: Graduate or undergraduate students working with a VTCAR faculty affiliate are eligible to apply. It is intended that the student (or students) and the associated VTCAR faculty affiliate will apply as a team. The award money is to be used for research on ASD and related conditions or disabilities.
Deadline for proposals is June 1, 2021 at 5pm sent to Angela Scarpa at ascarpa@vt.edu. For questions regarding the award and Application Instructions, please contact Angela Scarpa at ascarpa@vt.edu.
