Congratulating Adam Raines who received the F. Edward Hébert Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship. Applicants from various health related programs such as Medicine, Optometry, Dental Medicine, and Clinical Psychology are welcome to apply. It is a highly competitive scholarship program (only 7 applicants selected this rotation) that includes full coverage for tuition, school sponsored health insurance, and related fees, a stipend, and Summer officer's pay in exchange for active duty officer training in Summers. This will also most likely lead to Adam obtaining an clinical internship and residency with the Army, and this Fall he will commission into the US Army as a Second Lieutenant in the Medical Corps.
