About Us

logoThe Psychosocial Adjustment, NeuroDevelopment, and Autism (PANDA) Lab was established several years ago by Dr. Angela Scarpa. Our lab focuses on factors related to socioemotional development and well-being related to Autism Spectrum Disorder. More specifically, we have had projects examining parent-mediated interventions, such as social skills treatment for preschoolers and mindfulness-enhanced Pivotal Response Training, parent-child stress and coping, physiological arousal regulation, Dr. Scarpa's Stress and Anger Management Program (STAMP), novel methods to improve access to care, and workplace neurodiversity. We aim to take an inclusive approach, working with family members and autistic individuals across the lifespan.
