The Psychosocial Adjustment, NeuroDevelopment, and Autism (PANDA) Lab was established several years ago by Dr. Angela Scarpa. Our lab focuses on factors related to socioemotional development in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. More specifically, we have ongoing projects evaluating the efficacy of parent-mediated interventions for children with ASD, including social skills treatment for preschoolers and mindfulness-enhanced PRT, with other projects related to parent-child stress and coping, physiological arousal dysregulation, and Dr. Scarpa's Stress and Anger Management Program (STAMP). We aim to take an inclusive approach, working with parents and siblings, as well as the child with ASD.
