Psychology Department Account Assistant

The Account Assistant is a tool to help faculty and students...

• create new department accounts. (log-in for department computers)
• request access to a research lab.
• change/reset your department password.

You must have a PID and password, and you must be an active Facutly, Student, or Staff member at VT.

Giving Lab Access to Students

If you are in charge of a research lab, and you need to give access to a student, then send the student:

• the name of your lab.
• a copy of the link, which sends them to this page.

Or you can tell them:

• the name of your lab.
• to visit the support.psyc.vt.edu, and search for 'Account Assistant'.

Once the student signs up with your lab, the Director/Coordinator will receive an email to approve the new student.
